Weak economy in US is keeping mortgage rates at all time low. But 30 year fixed mortgage rates has seen a slight increase in the past week and the increase is .07%.There is a fall of .05% in average Jumbo 30 year fixed mortgage rate. Economists see no considerable changes in the mortgage rates in the coming months. Many mortgage brokers are facing bankruptcy. The only mortgage rate which remained unchanged is 15 year fixed rate mortgage. Mortgage premium relief has been offered by banking giant Citimortgage for unemployed house owners. Many economists advise that locking in mortgage interest rates can save lot of money for house owners.
